Drunken Pumkin

We’re having people over for Halloween next weekend, so we’re trying out new cocktail recipes. The Drunkin’ Pumpkin cocktail is more of a dessert…it has frozen yogurt, pumpkin and our our favorite liquor, bourbon. Add a little pumpkin spice and you’ve got yourself a sweet lil’ creamy taste of the season.

Makes two cocktails:

  • 6 oz of Maker’s Mark
  • 4 0z of vanilla frozen yogurt
  • 4 oz of canned pumpkin
  • 4 oz of skim milk
  • Pumpkin spice

Add all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Serve and garnish with another dash of pumpkin spice. So good and it’s probably good for you too. Enjoy!

    This looks delish, can’t wait to try! Thought of you guys recently…I got my hands on some peanut butter vodka from the Dogfish Head Brewery in Rehobeth, DE. If I had a blog I would be writing about how amazing the peanut butter chocolate martini I made was! If you have a connection to Rehobeth make sure you get some it – I know you will make something wonderful with it!

    Looks like a cross mix of either flan or a really thick glass of eggnog! It does look yummy, though. I wonder if it’s thick enough to eat with a spoon?? I’ll try this one when it gets a little closer to the Thanksgiving or Christmas holiday. They always have pumpkin on hand for those two holidays.
